Host familiy: Asteraceae Hypericaceae[Clusiaceae][Guttiferae] Fabaceae Lamiaceae Pinaceae Rosaceae Santalaceae Ulmaceae Verbenaceae. Host genera: Aster[unresolved] Comandra Erigeron Fragaria Hypericum Lotus Malus Medicago Melilotus Monarda Picea Pinus Prunus Rosa Solidago Symphyotrichum[=Aster] Trifolium Ulmus Verbena. Notes: various low-growing herbs (Powell & Opler 2009); polyphagous on herbs (Forbes 1923); polyphagous on fruit trees (Zhang 1994); leaves (Chapman & Lienk 1971); seeds (Robinson et al 2002).
