Plutella haasi of authors; not Staudinger, 1883 is an undescribed species from Labrador misidentified as haasi (JF Landry in Handfield 2002) (Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). DNA barcode places specimens from western US and Canada in BOLD:AAI2758, a BIN group with "haasi" (determination uncertain) from Europe, however, DNA sequences place those specimens in a separate branch of the barcode tree. |
