Taxonomic Notes: |
Plutella hyperboreella Strand, 1902, rev. comb. (Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was formerly placed in the genus Plutelloptera Baraniak, 2007, n. syn. of Plutella (Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). This species is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Landry et al., 2013). This species was synonymized with Plutella polaris by Robinson & Sattler (2001; appendix), but treated as valid by Baraniak (2007) and Sohn in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023). |
