Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Celastraceae.  Host genera: Euonymus.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: cagnagella (Hübner, [1813]) (Tinea) - MONA 1983: [NEW] evonymi (Zeller, 1844) (Hyponomeuta) Taxonomic Notes: Yponomeuta cagnagella (Hübner, 1813) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico.
