Taxonomic Notes: |
Stigmella microtheriella includes as a synonym Stigmella cathepostis Kemperman & Wilkinson, 1985 in Nieukerken et al. (2016). This species is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico with specimens found in both eastern and western North America. (Eiseman & van Nieukerken 2015). |
