Description/ Field Marks: |
Forewing shape is useful but not diagnostic. BOLD:AAA4924, the BIN for apicalis, has bent winged examples. |
Similar Species: |
- Clostera apicalis (Walker, 1855) is nearly identical, though the forewing coastal margin tends to be less bent. Best separated by DNA or genitalia.
