  • Taxonomic Notes: Speranza denticulodes (Hulst, 1896), inferred revived combination, is a member of the bitactata group (Ferguson) which includes Speranza wauaria (Linnaeus, 1758), rev. comb. (Õunap et al. 2024). The genus Speranza, rev. stat. (Õunap et al. 2024), was previously listed as a synonym of Macaria in Schmidt & McGuinness (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023) following the treatment in Sihvonen & Skou (2015).
