Similar Species: Ambesa species have upturned labial palpus, not porrect as in denticulella. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: denticulella (Ragonot, 1887) (Pristophora) - MONA 1983: 5755; TL: not stated. ruderella (Ragonot, 1887) (Epischnia); TL: not stated. Taxonomic Notes: Interjectio denticulella (Ragonot, 1887) includes as a synonym Interjectio ruderella (Ragonot, 1887) in Neunzig (2003).
