Taxonomic Notes: Polites vibex (Geyer, 1832) is placed in the genus Hedone, rev. stat. (Zhang et al. 2019). Pelham (2022), Cat. Butterflies US and Can. [revised 2 February 2022] retains Hedone as a subgenus and is followed herein.
