Genitalia: See Yakovlev et al., (2019).
Similar Species:
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Synonymy:
  • masoni (Schaus, 1892) (Zeuzera) REV. COMB. - MONA 1983: [NEW in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) (2023)]
  • Taxonomic Notes: Carohamilia masoni Schaus, 1892, n. comb. (Naydenov et al. 2023). This species was previously transferred to the genus Psychonoctua in Blanchard & Knudson (1985) and then to Aramos in Schoorl (1990:125). In synonymizing Aramos with Brypoctia, Yakovlev, et al. (2019:408) excluded masoni from both Brypoctia and Psychonoctua leaving it's placement undetermined. Consequently, Young (in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023) provisionally listed the species as a revised combination in "Zeuzera"".
