Distribution: NH west to IL and south to TN and AL. Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Smilacaceae.  Host genera: Smilax.  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Description/ Field Marks: Adults emerge in October and apparently mate the following year. Similar Species: 36a0230 Acrolepiopsis incertella: is separated by genitalia and DNA barcode. Adults emerge May to June. A fresh Spring adult is more likely to be this species. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
