Holotype: Lomas de Chapultepec, Mexico.
Similar Species:

Taxonomic Notes: Eucoptocnemis ursae Lafontaine, 2004, n. sp., is now recognized within the North American fauna. This Mexican species was first reported from Caprock Canyon, Briscoe Co., TX, three specimens collected, 3/3/2015, by J. Vargo and identified by J. Troubridge.
