Distribution: Arizona and New Mexico Similar Species: Don Lafontaine (pers., comm., 03/16/2018) advises that a likely new undescribed species near E. rufula exists in Texas. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: rufula Lafontaine, 2004 (Eucoptocnemis) Taxonomic Notes: Eucoptocnemis rufula Lafontaine, 2004, n. sp.: MONA Fascicle 27.1: 1-394.
