Distribution: Type locality (clauda): Arizona.
Type locality (E. c. pallens): "Angeles Bay, Lower California" [Bahia de Los Angeles, Mexico].
Similar Species:
  • Escaria homogena has an st. line with a "W' mark on veins 3 and 4 which is lacking in clauda. Also separated by range.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
