Huachuca, Patagonia, and Santa Rita Mountains in southeastern Arizona, Lafontaine et al. (2010). Holotype: Arizona, Santa Cruz Co., Santa Rita Mts., Madera Canyon. Paratypes: Arizona. Cochise Co., Huachuca Mts., Cave Canyon. |
Description/ Field Marks: |
Bryolymnia biformata typically has dark basal area reaching the inner margin and a subterminal area with hoary-gray shading. |
Similar Species: |
- 9683 Bryolymnia ensina typically has the dark forewing basal basal patch extending about half the distance to the inner margin, one or two dark streaks between the reniform spot and the st. line and lacks the hoary-gray shading in subterminal area of B. biformata.
