| Description: |
"Thorax and wings pale to deep ochreous, the primaries striate in appearance [wood grain textured] and crossed by two rather broad smoky lines, the t. a. line outwardly oblique from costa to lower portion of cell, then slightly angled and almost straight to inner margin ; t. p. line from costa near apex, very slightly sinuate, almost rigidly oblique, accentuated on the veins by black dots, continued across secondaries as a straight line, similarly dotted on the veins. Beneath silky ochreous with maculation of upper side showing through; fringes rather deeper in color with distinct black dots at end of veins. Expanse 39 mm." (Barnes & McDunnough 1918) |
