Distribution: Type locality: Glenwood Springs, CO.
Description/
Field Marks:
Wingspan: 42mm; "Near T. vitrifia, Grt., but much larger, wings more extended, much more thickly scaled, and outer line much more sinuous." (Hulst, 1898).
Similar Species:
  • Lambdina vitraria (Grote, 1883).
  • Lambdina phantoma (Barnes & McDunnough, 1916).
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Taxonomic Notes: Lambdina punctata (Hulst, 1898), formerly treated as a synonym of 6895 Lambdina vitraria (Grote, 1883), is raised to full species in Pitkin (2002), Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 135(2-3):260.
