Synonymy:

argentistriata Strecker, 1876 (Phrygionis) - MONA 1983: [NEW]; TL: Florida.

Note: Elevated from synonymy of Phrygionis paradoxata (Guenée, [1858]) in Matson et al. (2026), this name was inadvertently omitted in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023). The name paradoxata applies only to the taxon endemic to Hispaniola.
