Taxonomic: Notes Epimecis anonaria: Described from Venezuela, this species was included based on a male-female pair reported by Kimball (1965) from “Cypress Swamps, Chokoloskee, Florida”. The locality was found to be erroneous in Matson et al. (2026) and is excluded here as extralimital to North America north of Mexico. Synonymy: anonaria (Felder, 1874) (Bronchelia) excl. - MONA 1983: 6602 Similar  : Species Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
