Taxonomic: Notes Epimecis anonaria: Described from Venezuela, this species was included based on a male-female pair reported by Kimball (1965) from “Cypress Swamps, Chokoloskee, Florida”. The locality was found to be erroneous in Matson et al. (2026) and is excluded here as extralimital to North America north of Mexico.
