Taxonomic Notes: Eupithecia chlorofasciata Dietze, 1872, a species recommended to be struck from the list of Eupithecia by Cassino & Swett (1922) and omitted in McDunnough (1949), was added back in the 1983 Hodges Checklist. The type was destroyed by Anthrenus and the true identity of this species appears to be uncertain, The Lepidopterist, 3(11): 179.
