Taxonomic Notes: |
Peoria gematella (Hulst, 1887) is restored as the valid name. Originally described as "gemmatilla", the spelling was changed to "gematella" on the corrections page of same work. This species was misspelled as "gemmatella" in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist) and McDunnough (1939). |
