Taxonomic Notes: Aphomia fulminalis (Zeller, 1872) was omitted from Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), an apparent oversight. This widely distributed eastern species is included in Solis & Metz (2008), Proc. Entom. Soc. Wash., 110(3): 592-601.
