Distribution: Type locality (griphalis): Colorado. Type locality (centralis): Williams, AZ. Similar Species: 5513 Aglossa electalis Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: • Aglossa gripalis Hulst, 1886 • Ugra angustipennis Warren, 1891 • Acallis centralis Dyar, 1910 • Acallis fernaldi Ragonot, 1891 Taxonomic Notes: Acallis griphalis (Hulst, 1886) includes as a synonyms Acallis gripalis (Hulst, 1886), missp., in Hulst (1886:xxiv) and 5542 Accalis centralis in Solis et al. (2013), ZooKeys 344: 55-71.
