Distribution: USA: Lower Rio Grande Valley, TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Taxonomic Notes: Ethmia nr. piperella is a cryptic, likely undescribed species similar to Ethmia piperella Powell, 1973, a member of the piperella group.
