Taxonomic Notes: |
Nycthia yuccatana (Busck, 1907) was formerly unassigned to genus in Meltzer & Brown (2014). Pogue (1986) proposed the genus Nycthia for this species in his unpublished Ph.D. dissertation and is nomen nudum (unavaillable). Brown (2019) published the name Nycthia, new genus, Zootaxa, 4671(2): 206. This species was number 3860 in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist). (3853 (1983 list) Aethes sublepidana (Kearfott, 1907) is a synonym of 3757 Aethes interruptofasciana.) |
