Synonymy: Plutella polaris Zeller, 1880
Taxonomic Notes: Plutella polaris Zeller, 1880 is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico. Baraniak (2007) places this species in the genus Plutelloptera, n. gen., a treatment apparently not widely accepted and ignored by subsequent authors.
