  • Taxonomic Notes: Leucoptera coffeella (Guérin-Méneville & Perrottet, 1842) is now recognized within the North American fauna. Established population found in planted coffee trees from area of Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2021- James Hayden, FDACS-DPI (pers. comm. 12/21/2021).
