Distribution: Type locality: Washington state, not Washington, D.C. as stated by Dietz. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Ornix guttea var. solitariella Dietz, 1907 Taxonomic Notes: Parornix solitariella (Dietz, 1907), rev. stat. (Eiseman & Davis in Pohl & Nanz (eds.) 2023), was formerly treated as a synonym of Callisto denticulella (Thunberg, 1794) in De Prins & De Prins (2005).
