Description/ Field Marks: See Moths of North Carolina. Similar Species: See Tegeticula yuccasella Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: decipiens Riley, 1880 (Prodoxus) Taxonomic Notes: Prodoxus decipiens Riley, 1880, formerly treated as a synonym of Prodoxus quinquepunctella, is treated as a full species in Pellmyr, et al. (2005).
