Distribution: USA: Lower Rio Grand Valley, TX. Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: davisella Powell, 1973 (Ethmia) - MONA 1983: 0993; TL: Mexico, 6 miles south of Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, 1,050 feet. Taxonomic Notes: Ethmia davisella Powell, 1973 is now recognized within the North American fauna; multiple sightings from LRGV, TX from iNaturalist, and BugGuide.
