Distribution: Lectotype: Redington, Pima Co., AZ.
Similar Species:
  • Ethmia umbrimarginella Busck, 1907 is larger (wingspread = ~20mm vs. ~17-18mm) and has a longitudinal orange streak extending centrally from base to end of cell, lacking in lassenella.
