Taxonomic: Notes Pyramidobela ochrolepra Powell, 1973: This species was reported from TX by Shropshire & Tallamy (2025), based on a record in western TX in Powell & Opler (1996). The species is otherwise known only from Chiapas in southern Mexico; the TX record is treated as unverified pending confirmation. Synonymy: ochrolepra Powell, 1973 (Pyramidobela) unver.; TL: "Mexico, El Sumidero, 15 miles northwest of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas". Similar  : Species Pinned specimens of related species.
