      Type locality: Wedge Plantation, on the south bank of the South Santee River, Charleston Co., SC; near Beaufort, Cartaret Co., just south of Cape Hatteras, NC; Great Dismal Swamp, near NC border in southeastern VA.
  • Taxonomic Notes: "Acrapex" relicta Ferguson, 1991, n. sp. Generic placement is provisional. Journal of the Lepidopterists' Society, 45: 209-214.
