Distribution: Arizona and south.
Type locality: San Francisco, CA - Todd (1966:12) views the type locality as a likely error.

Taxonomic Notes: Neotuerta sabulosa (Felder, 1874) is now recognized within the North American fauna north of Mexico (Arizona).
