Distribution: Canada: NS to BC; USA: ME south to FL and west to NM and northern CA (Schmidt & Anweiler 2020).

  • Taxonomic Notes: Acronicta hasta (Guenée, 1852) includes as a synonym Acronicta furcifera [9228] in Forbes (1954), overlooked syn. in Hodges et al. (1983) (Checklist), corrected by Rings et al. (1992).
