Taxonomic Notes: Acronicta insita (Walker, 1856) includes as synonyms Acronicta dactylina (Grote, 1874) [9203], n. syn., and Acronicta hesperida (Smith, 1897) [9204], rev. syn., in Schmidt & Anweiler (2020), MONA Fascicle 25.4: 160.
