Similar Species: The moths shown here are sufficiently distinctive in appearance to suggest this little known species. However, when similar specimens have had genitalia examined, they could turn out to be a different species of Semioscopis such as S. aurorella or S. megamicrella. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: mcdunnoughi Clarke, 1941 (Semioscopis) - MONA 1983: 0917   Type locality: Bellingham, WA.
