Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Poaceae[none_specified].  Host genera: .none_specified.  Notes: grasses (Beadle & Leckie 2012); grasses (Nystrom & Ochoa 2006); grasses (Godfrey 1972c); specialist on Poaceae (Crabo et al 2014).  (Shropshire & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: Pinned specimens of related species. Synonymy: albidula (Guenée, 1852) (Erastria) - MONA 1983: 9048 cretiferana (Walker, 1863) (Conchylis) intractabilis (Walker, 1860) (Nonagria) Taxonomic Notes: Protodeltote albidula: Protodeltote muscosula (Guenée, 1852) was formerly placed in the genus Lithacodia, Bull. Kitakyushu Mus. Nat. Hist., 5: 91-133. The genus Protodeltote was subsumed within Deltote as a subgenus by Fibiger et al. (2009) and re-instated by Schmidt et al. (2018), ZooKeys, 788: 247.
