Larva and Host Plants: Host familiy: Sapindaceae.  Host genera: Acer.  Host extended: leaves (Wagner et al 2011)...  (Kimberley & Douglas 2025) Similar Species: 931033 Zale phaeocapna: The am. line extends from costa at a right angle before curving inwardly toward the inner margin. The pm. line has an outward bulge with a slight hook as it meets the costa where it is outwardly margined by pale line. The pre-apical patch on the costa is well developed. Synonymy: galbanata (Morrison, 1876) (Homoptera) - MONA 1983: 8692 lineosa of authors; (not Walker, 1858) (Homoptera) misappl. penna (Morrison, 1876) (Homoptera); TL: Galena, IL.
