Holotype: Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico.
Similar Species:

Taxonomic Notes: Matigramma necopina Franclemont, 1986, n. sp., . Kans. Entomol., 59(1):160, is now recognized within the North American fauna. This native of Mexico has been collected from Edwards Co., TX by A. Hendrickson in 2016, 1 ♂, 1 ♀, det. J. Metlevski, and subsequently in 2020 from Zavala Co., TX by J. Metlevski.
