Type locality: Cerritos, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Larva and
Host Plants:
Acacia roemeriana, Senegalia berlandieri.
Description/
Field Marks:
Toxonprucha psegmapteryx was described from a female and its true identity is uncertain. Specimens in BOLD BIN group BOLD:ABX2203 appear to match the original description.
Similar Species:
  • Toxonprucha n. sp. 1 easily distinguished by male genitalia and DNA barcode.
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
