Distribution: Southern TX (tentative).
Type locality: Mexico.
Description/
Field Marks:
Druce (1881-1900) states, "This species was described from three very faded specimens. Mons. C. Oberthür informs me that the types are not to be found, and that they were most probably destroyed during the later years of Guenée's life, when his collection was much neglected."

Taxonomic Notes: Hemeroblemma infans (Guenée, 1852), a Mexican species, is tentatively recognized within the North American fauna, one specimen collected in Hidalgo Co., TX in 2020 by Michael Overton.
