Synonymy: fulvangula Geyer, 1832 (Gonodonta) chrysotornus (Hampson, 1926) (Athysania) fulvangala Lafontaine & Schmidt, 2010 (Gonodonta) missp. Taxonomic Notes: Gonodonta fulvangula was recorded in Rio Grande City, Texas in 1977 (Knudson and Koehn 2009).
