Distribution: Suggested by Heppner as a species straying into, but not breeding in, Florida.

Synonymy:
  • miranda Raymundo, 1908 (Gonodonta)
  • bidens Geyer, 1832 (Gonodonta) STRAY
  • Taxonomic Notes: Gonodonta bidens: Reported from Florida and Texas. BOLD data seems to infer that specimens from those two locations may not be the same species.
