Type locality (laetulus): "Philadelphia; Albany, N. Y." Similar Species: Hypena deceptalis Walker, 1859 Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Synonymy: • Hypena eductalis Walker, [1859] • Lomanaltes laetulus Grote, 1873 Taxonomic Notes: Hypena eductalis: Formerly known as Lomanaltes and Hypena eductalis.
