Distribution: Long Island, NY to FL and southernmost TX. Holotype: Archbold Bio., Lake Placid, Highlands Co., FL. Genitalia: eee Similar Species: Hypenopsis macula (Druce, 1891) is not found north or west of Florida.Hypenopsis sonora Landry & Landry, 2023 is found in AZ, NM and southernmost TX. Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.) Taxonomic Notes: Hypenopsis calusa Landry & Landry, 2023, n. sp., Rev. suisse zool., 130(2): 363; figs. 3­6, 17­-18, 22­-25, 33­-34, 42­-47, 51, 53.
