Synonymy: Hypenodes macula Druce, 1891
Taxonomic Notes: Hypenopsis macula (Druce, 1891), formerly in the genus Schrankia, is returned to Hypenopsis Dyar, 1913, status revalidated, (Landry et al., 2023).
