Distribution: Southern Texas
Type locality (expressa): Mexico.
Similar Species:
  • Pinned specimens of related species. (Hint: select View by Region on the related species page.)
Taxonomic Notes: Euchaetes cf. expressa (Edwards, 1884) is refers to a species found in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. It is uncertain if records at BOLD and the Bohart Museum of Entomology (see image by Jeff Smith below) refer to to E. expressa, a species not currently recognized north of Mexico, or some other species, possibly undescribed.
