Synonymy: virginalis (Boisduval, 1852) (Chelonia) - MONA 1983: 8163 guttata (Boisduval, 1852) (Agarista) ochracea (Stretch, 1872) (Euprepia) Taxonomic Notes: Arctia virginalis (Boisduval, 1852) was transferred from the genus Platyprepia n. syn. in Ronka et al. (2016).
