Synonymy: parthenos Harris, 1850 (Arctia) - MONA 1983: 8162 borealis Möschler, 1860 (Arctia) multimaculata (Brower, 1973) (Hyphoraia) obsolescens (Brower, 1973) (Hyphoraia) parvimaculata (Brower, 1973) (Hyphoraia) Taxonomic Notes: Arctia parthenos Harris, 1850 was transferred from the genus Platarctia n. syn. in Ronka et al. (2016).
